What is a clan?
Your family's private journal. Grown-ups sign up and invite each other; children get a profile and a passport without needing an email.
How do children use it?
Hand them your device in kid mode (People → Kid mode), or give an older child their own login from People. Children can write drafts and complete their own quests; a grown-up publishes. Kid mode stays on until a grown-up types their password in People.
How do quests and challenges work?
Quests are small adventures, from Common to Legendary. Tap Complete, add a photo and a few words if you like, and it lands in that child's passport with a celebration. A challenge is a set of quests; finish them all for a bigger one. There are no points or leaderboards, and siblings are never compared.
How do I share with grandparents?
Options → Guest links. Each link comes with a short Guest Pass code they can type in at app.clanpath.com/pass. Guests only see published entries you've set to Guests, and you can revoke a link at any time.
My child's school or a museum gave us a code.
On Quests, use Join Class for a teacher's six-character code, or Explore Places to find a venue's trails. Their quests arrive on your board; nothing from your journal goes back to them.
I signed up before my partner invited me.
Open the invite link while signed in. If your own clan is still empty, accepting moves you across and the empty clan is removed.
The celebrations are too loud.
Tap the speaker on any celebration, or go to Options → Celebrations. Devices with reduced motion switched on get a calm card with no confetti.
I run a school, museum, park or council.
Register from Options → Schools & places. The Clan Path team checks you are who you say before families can see your quests.
